$3 per isopod

How many1

No set pack size. A new colony usually does better with several animals than with one.

Habitat

Glacier is kept as a pale Porcellio scaber-type morph. Standard scaber setup: moisture gradient, leaves, bark, and cross-ventilation. The light shell shows dirt, so a muddy wet side makes them look dull even when they are fine.

Diet

Leaf litter is the bulk. They will take vegetable and a little protein. Calcium stays in the bin. Do not pile food because a scaber group can leave scraps.

Breeding

Scaber lines are often steady breeders in a simple bin. Pale babies may darken or vary. This shop does not record a brood number.

A good fit

An easier pale colony than a white Cubaris. A reasonable early isopod if you already understand a damp side and a dry side.
