Habitat
Red Calico is a red patched line on a hardy Porcellio-type setup: gradient, bark, leaves, ventilation. Red shows better when the shell is dry to the touch on the dry side and the moss is still actually moist.
Diet
Leaf litter, calcium, small protein or vegetable. The red is not from paprika, beets, or any other food trick.
Breeding
Calico and red both vary in offspring. Keep the adults you like if you are selecting, and expect plainer babies. No brood count is filed.
A good fit
A hardy color project. Fair for a keeper who has kept a scaber or laevis and wants a busier pattern.
