How many1

No set pack size. A new colony usually does better with several animals than with one.

Habitat

Spikey Armadillo is the tuberculatus-type textured armadillo in this shop. Keep it humid but ventilated: moss, deep cover, and a less-wet side. The tubercles hold water and debris, so a closed soggy bin fouls the shell.

Diet

Leaves and rotten wood, calcium, and small protein portions in a dish so food does not grind into the spikes.

Breeding

A slow, expensive display project. Start with a group, not a pair you hope will hurry. No brood count is on file.

A good fit

For a keeper who already raises humid display isopods. Not a beginner and not a cleaner for a dry cage.
