$2 per isopod

How many1

No set pack size. A new colony usually does better with several animals than with one.

Habitat

Zebra is Armadillidium maculatum. It wants a moisture gradient with a real dry side, soil, leaves, and cork. People overwater zebras because the stripes look like they belong in a jungle. A stuffy wet bin is a common failure.

Diet

Leaves and wood, calcium they can rasp, and small vegetable or protein portions. They are not laevis-level protein eaters.

Breeding

A patient but workable breeder in a gradient bin. Striped juveniles are visible on dark bark. No brood count is recorded here.

A good fit

One of the better 'pretty but understandable' colonies. A classic step after a scaber or powder, before a duckie or Panda King.
